About me I live in Central Vermont with my life partner, Christopher, and our two cats, Honey Bee and Smokey. Despite having undergone multiple surgeries on my hands, my passion for jewelry making has never wavered. For me, jewelry is meant to be worn, not put away in a box. Each piece I create is a reflection of the unique beauty and individuality of the person who wears it. I pour my heart into every design, crafting pieces that aren't just accessories but cherished heirlooms, destined to be loved and passed down through generations. In addition to my online store, I run a studio where I offer both private and group classes on bead stringing and beginner jewelry fabrication. I spend much of my time creating new collections and one-of-a-kind pieces, as well as custom designs, repairs, and restorations. With over 40 years of experience in jewelry repair, I find great reward in bringing old pieces back to life. If you need jewelry repaired or have any questions, please feel free to reach out via email or phone.
Artist's Statement My designs are hand-fabricated and centered around the gemstones I use, each piece guided by the unique color and texture of the stones. I am particularly fond of Drusy crystals and pearls but incorporate a variety of stones in my work. Inspired by nature, I see the stones as treasures from the earth, shaping my designs to highlight their natural beauty.
I choose metals like gold or silver to complement each stone, experimenting with alloys and textures to create contrast and harmony. My limited edition pieces are produced in small runs to maintain their unique qualities. I source my stones from reputable dealers with whom I've built relationships over my 40-year career and enjoy finding unique pebbles during my travels.
As a juried member of the 802 Art House what use to be Vermont Hand Crafters and a tenured artist of the Weston Craft Show in Vermont, I take pride in the authenticity and craftsmanship of my work. Creating pieces that people love and can pass down through generations is the most important part of my work.
